The article deals with the efficacy of metabolic drugs as an important component of the treatment of acute and chronic forms of coronary heart disease, in particular the use of trimetazidine – myocardial cytoprotector in patients with acute myocardial infarction.
Administration of trimetazidine is appropriate at the stage of recovery of patients in the early post-infarction period. Thus, adequate cardio-rehabilitation can be supplemented with the course of trimetazidine cytoprotector, thereby increasing the efficacy of the recovery of patients after myocardial infarction.
