On April 6, the scientific-practical conference «Heart and blood vessels» was held, at which the most important aspects of managing patients with a cardiovascular profile were considered. Report of the Senior Researcher of the Department of Symptomatic Hypertension of the State Institution NSC Institute of Cardiology named after N.N. N. D. Strazhesko of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine (Kyiv), Candidate of Medical Sciences Oksana Leonidovna Rekovets, touched upon the place of cardioprotective metabolic therapy in patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and coronary heart disease (CHD).
