Studies of leading scientists of our country [4,5] conducted in previous years have shown that the state of reproductive health of the population of Ukraine is of particular concern, as it not only does not meet international standards, but especially in the last decade has been affected by various negative factors that continue to cause an increase in female morbidity.
A particular threat to women’s reproductive health is posed by chronic inflammatory diseases of the genital organs, which, if not diagnosed and treated in a timely manner, affect the risk of other reproductive health disorders, such as infertility, menstrual irregularities, hyperplastic changes in the genital organs and other complications that occur in combination with changes in autonomic homeostasis [3,6].
Difficult conditions of modern life, which are expressed not only in changes in socio-economic conditions, deterioration of the environmental situation and the spread of infections, including those transmitted by sexually transmitted diseases, lead to a decrease in the number of women who have uncomplicated pregnancy and childbirth. The state of women’s health, which is affected by somatic morbidity, in particular somatoform diseases accompanied by disorders of autonomic homeostasis and gynecological morbidity, causes the development of obstetric and perinatal complications, which leads to the birth of children in a disturbed state.
The importance of the problem lies in the fact that in recent years, the proportion of inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs, among other gynecological pathologies, has been increasing. Infection of the population, especially of young reproductive age, is a threat not only to the health of the population of our country, but also an unfavorable factor that can affect the health of future generations.
