Infectious-inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (URT) and ENT organs are one of the most frequent reasons for visiting a doctor. Occupying the second place in the structure of morbidity in Ukraine, acute respiratory diseases are second only to diseases of the cardiovascular system. The level of infectious respiratory pathology, depending on the region, reaches 17-20%. The incidence of respiratory tract infections and ENT pathology increases significantly, becoming mass in the period from September to April.
The spectrum of azithromycin activity captures all major pathogens of respiratory tract and ENT infections.
Azithromycin is presented on the Ukrainian market by the company “World Medicine” under the trade name Ziromin. High safety level of Ziromin and its good tolerability have been proved in clinical trials.
Ziromin is a first-line drug for treatment of infections of respiratory tract and ENT organs.
