On the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market, one of the newest and unique products based on St. John’s wort is STRESSOFIT from World Medicine, which contains a dry extract of hypericum wort flowers 300 mg, which corresponds to 900 mcg of hypericin.
In addition, STRESSOFIT is the only remedy on the domestic market, which includes components of motherwort and peony that potentiate the action of hypericum wort: 100 mg dry extract of stems and leaves of motherwort, which corresponds to 5% stahydrine, and 100 mg dry extract of peony lactiflora roots, which corresponds to 20% pionoflorin.
In the herbal remedy STRESSOFIT, motherwort extract causes sedative, antispasmodic, anticonvulsant, antianginal and hypotensive effects, and also has a protective effect in cerebral ischemia.
Plant components of peony, primarily glycosides of salicin and methyl salicylate, in the composition of STRESSOFIT also exhibit various actions: sedative, anticonvulsant, membrane stabilizing, antioxidant, antihypoxic. In addition, it should be noted that the sedative effect of peony extract is associated with stimulation of the body’s production of endorphins, which cause a feeling of happiness.

- depression of mild and moderate severity, accompanied by a sense of fear, anxiety, insomnia;
