There is a difference in the prevalence of corneal diseases in Kyiv and Ukraine as a whole. In most cases of keratitis, the microflora is represented by Staphylococcus epidermidis, which is sensitive to antibacterial drugs of the fluoroquinolones group (Floximed) and aminoglycosides (Tobrimed). The use of NSAID drops (Clodifen) in the complex treatment of keratitis accelerates the disappearance of subjective manifestations and delays the time of corneal epithelization. The use of OCT of the anterior segment of the eye makes it possible to visualize the structure of the cornea and objectively assess the depth and area of the lesion.
