Glaucoma is an extremely serious eye disease that, if detected late and without adequate treatment, leads to inevitable blindness.

Glaucoma is a delayed form of vision loss – it just progresses at different speeds. It caused blindness in 5.2-5.5 million people on the globe. However, according to WHO estimates, there are more than 105 million people in the world who have not been diagnosed with it or are suspected of having it.

Today, about 220,000 people in Ukraine have glaucoma. 25,000 new cases of the disease are detected annually.
