Cystitis is the most common clinical manifestation of urinary tract infections, accompanied by urinary disorders and pelvic pain. The term «cystitis» is used to describe inflammation in the bladder.
Phosphomycin is the main dgugs for treatment of uncomplicated, including postcoital cystitis, according to the European Guidelines for the Treatment of Urological Infections 2019 (management guideline).
Оbjective
The development of early tacticsof postcoital and non-complicated cystitis.
Materials and methods
Under our observation, there was a group of women with postcoital cystitis in the number of 15 people and 10 women with uncomplicated cystitis of bacterial nature, aged 21 to 48 years, who was on outpatient treatment at the Kyiv City Dermatovenerology Hospital and other clinical bases of the Department of Dermatology.
Results and discussion
Single use of Phosphomed in post-coital and uncomplicated cystitis in women has been shown to have antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects, reduce clinical manifestations of the disease, reduce discomfort and significantly improve the quality of life of patients.
Conclusions
The results make it possible to recommend Phosphomed as a drug of choice in patients with postcoital and uncomplicated cystitis, even with single use, and also to prevent recurrence.
