Red eye syndrome is not an independent nosological unit, but a complex of symptoms that requires a quick response from a general practitioner to establish the cause of occurrence, determine further tactics for treating the patient and the need for a referral for secondary medical care by an ophthalmologist. Fluoroquinolone preparations (Levoximed®, Floximed®), combined agents (Medetrom® and Neladex®), as well as topical corticosteroids (Medexol®) and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (Clodifen®) can be used in the treatment of diseases of efficiency and safety.
