Muscomed in the treatment of patients with dorsalgia

Abstract

The article presents the research results of the effectiveness of different therapeutic doses of Muscosmed (thiocolchicoside) in treatment of patients with vertebrogenic dorsalgias. It is shown that use of 4 mg/8 mg of Muscomed twice a day in complex treatment of patients with reflex pain muscle spasm leads to decreasing of muscular-tonic syndrome expression, relief of pain syndrome, restoration of static-dynamic functions of the spine. Muscomed has a dose-dependent effect, which allows to increase its clinical effectiveness and minimize the risk of chronic pain syndrome.
