Prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding against the background of NSAID-gastropathy or stress ulcers is one of the important tasks in medical practice as an anesthesiologist-resuscitator and surgeon, as well as a gastroenterologist and therapist. The leading place in its solution is given to antisecretory drugs, primarily PPIs. The advantage of representatives of the PPI group compared to H2-blockers is the proven clinical efficacy in the prevention and treatment of ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract and gastrointestinal tract due to a stronger suppression of hydrochloric acid secretion. The PPI group is represented by drugs that differ in pharmacokinetic parameters, dosage forms, metabolic pathways, and spectrum of interactions with other drugs. Pantoprazole (Ulsepan) is a member of the PPI group with proven efficacy, has a dosage form not only in the form of 40 mg enteric tablets, but also in a form for parenteral administration (intravenous bolus injections, drip and continuous continuous infusions) and has the lowest potential for interaction with others. drugs, which allows it to be effectively used in patients with gastrointestinal tract against the background of NSAID-gastropathy or stress ulcers.
